MESSAGE FROM FOUNDER
REV. NGAN HOCK CHENG

JESUS DIED AND ROSE AGAIN! Hallelujah! “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” (John 12:24)

I was saved and received my calling to serve God while I was incarcerated in Changi Prison because of my involvement in the Secret Society in the sixties. On the day of my release from Prison in year 1979, I had a vision that I will go back to Prison to serve God and minister to the prisoners.

The Lord’s grace is upon me as I continue my journey in life after my release from prison – a life to love Him and serve Him. The vision to go back to serve in the prison came to pass in year 2000. Hence, in year 2007, I was inspired by the Spirit of God and with the help of a group of like-minded brethren, New Redeemer’s Fellowship Society was founded to do Prison True-care ministry. God led me through all the obstacles and trials with His Mighty Hand. He delivered me from all harm, in order that I might carry out His calling to serve Him and to lead the Ministry according to His Will.

The focus of our Ministry has always been to preach the Gospel of Christ to lost souls in the Prison. This is my greatest joy! Through it, many souls are saved inside the prison. Many families have also come to the saving knowledge of the Lord; leading many inmates and ex-inmates to be reconciled to their loved ones through this ministry. This is the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He alone deserves all the Glory!

OUR VISION

To preach the gospel to the lost, especially those who are in the prisons.

OUR MISSION

To fulfil the Great Commission of our Heavenly Father who loves and redeems all sinners through the partnership with local churches and help from other agencies. To equip more people to bring the life-transforming Gospel to those in prisons. To bring prisoners/ex-prisoners and their families into the salvation of Jesus Christ, and henceforth to lead a meaningful life. To prepare and equip ex-prisoners, through partnership with churches, Christian half-way houses and other agencies to help them to return to their families, society, and to church community to live and to serve for the Glory of God and for the good of others.

OUR PROCLAMATION

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor; He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners.” (Isaiah 61:1)
